Re: The Tiger is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fairs Fair lads, the chip on 16 was inside a foot or it was 20 feet away just the way the green is. I dont know why they didnt swap the first day and last day pin positions on 16 the place it was sitting on round one was far harder than the one on the last day....adds to the drama though.

Tiger never really went away either. He rebuilt his swing just like he did in 98 and it took him a season to get stronger, this time its taken 2 and to be fair the rest of the tour has upped it's game as well in the meantime.

Hat's off to DiMarco, though, never met the man but I have never had a great impression of him. He strikes me as a bit of a tool to be honest especially after all the fist pumping and such at the Ryder Cup (albeit he was the only one on the US Team that seemed to give a damn about it). He speaks his mind though and has proven himself to be a top quality player, the kind the US tour doesnt throw up often enough, someone not afraid to call a spade a spade and secure in his own opinion, very refreshing after the very dull, over scripted automatons out there in the dozens.

I was just chuckling at the thought of Mickleson gagging at having to drape the old Green Jacket over Tiger's shoulders.

One thing though, how much do you think CBS got paid to focus on Tigers ball when it went in at 16, Nike Swoosh and all. And how much do you think they will get for replaying it over and over and over again......it's a feckin Bridgestone B333 ball as well with a Nike stamp...hey ho the truth never got anyone anywhere did it?

Well done Tiger, I think he has to be a shoe in for The Open as well, St Andrews will let him away with that type of driving all week long. Someone will have to remind me of wether or not Pinhurst is Tiger friendly or not though. He really could do with getting that second Open to complete 2 career slams.
I liked what they said on Golf Central:

'If Tiger does the slam that will take him past Hagen in major wins'

I like their optimism but he wont do it this year.
