    Free golf club

Any body get one of these notices in the mail from W.C.G. about a free Warrior 20 degree hybrid golf club. Says you just have to call to give them specs and confirm address you pay ship/handle only. Sounds fishy, just wondering if anyone has taken them up on this offer, or if anyone else has recieved one of these offers.

You may get the club at no monetary cost, but you'll be hounded by them until the day you die (and even getting the club at no cost is a severe headache - or so I've read quite a few times.)

I've never, ever seen a 'things went great with Warrior golf' post on any board.

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.

I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.

For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.

You actually do receive the club at shipping cost only but you will also receive countless emails trying to get you try their other clubs and at one point they may even call your phone to talk to you about purchasing some of their clubs. The emails are no problem, you just block their address or you click the do not accept any further emails which is usually located within their email. Optingolfer.com golf also carry's their stuff and they are affiliated, you can go to their site and get an entire set of clubs for shipping only it's like 10 bucks a club for shipping. I did purchase a set for my daughter and they were ok clubs. The price was right but I haven't purchased anything further since then.

the shipping costs are ridulous. that is where they make their money. the clubs are fair at best - not worsth the shipping costs

I totalling agree, I purchased the set for my daughter a few years ago, at the time time it was ok for a beginner set for her, I certainly wouldn't purchase them now for any cost.

The old saying that nothing is free is true... yes, no free lunches... However, there are so many slightly used clubs out there that could be bought for a few dollars only...
