not today mate!
it was very windy today and then 10 minutes before tee off the heavens opened almost flooding the course.
conditions were not ideal and we had intermittent heavy shower and even a hailstorm.
driving again impeccable, out driving my lower handicap partners time after time.
hit the ball solidly all day, conditions didnt lend themselves to a finesse short game
bottom line 29 points not bad considering....................

Sounds not too bad to me either for the conditions Slats; roughly 7 over - ask some of the pros at the Irish Open who would have taken that.

At this rate of progress you'll match Scragger's 43 points soon - and he calls you a bandit

Re: Smoke me a kipper...I'll be back for breakfast...

finally got to play a round in the warm sunshine!
saw that the weather was nice so decided to go to the club for a few holes when i got there i was invited to make up a 3 ball that was waiting to tee off.
with no time to worry about anything i hit the sweetest 7 iron to 2 feet and so started the round with a 2!

hit driver well again but my irons were really on song only thing that let me down was the putter.
highlight of the round was the 499yd par 5 17th i hit a pretty good drive down the middle, then a solid 3 wood to about 70yds the green is blind so i went to have a look where the pin was situated i grabbed my sw and lobbed one up really high when i got nearer the green it was 2 foot from the hole so that was a nice birdie on one of the toughest holes.
all in all a very enjoyable round of golf and a score of 89 gross 66 nett

Good Job Pedro...

Unsure of your handicapping regimen over there, but a nett 66 "SHOULD" shave 2 or 3 off a 23 mark. Shouldn't it...???

Excellent work...

Cheers
