Well mate, a nett 66 here someone off 23 would do somewhere around 2.4, depending on CCR of the day.

89 is good golf and the cap is going in the right direction..

well i was when i left the club at 5.30
i had a day off work today had some stuff to sort out that wouldnt wait till the weekend. got finished for just after lunch so i went off to the club for a knock.
when i got there the pro asked if i wanted to play in the victory cup qualifier i said may as well.
to cut a long story short i shot a nett 66 and topped the leaderboard!

not going to dwell too long on the half dozen fluffed chips/putts etc

hopefully i'll still be in the top 10 by close of play and qualify for my first final

you were right about sticking with learning how to hit my driver, i hit every fairway again today

just had a call from the clubs honorary sec! asking me to attend a presentation tonight.
i won the victory cup 2nd division (15-28 handicappers) a little trophy and £40 pro shop voucher and qualified for the final

not bad for only my 3rd comp
