 Persimmon Head Thread A relative was clearing out there basement the other day and found a beautifull permissimon driver, it is immaculate apart from the thread around the top of the head has come loose. How hard is it to fix this? Is it expensive? Can I do it?Thanks.  |

| Re: Persimmon Head Thread Replacing the whipping is relatively easy. You can order whipping from most any component company. However, whipping comes in large quantities and it might be better to take the club to a reputable club repair facility close to you. I have several classic persimmon woods (old MacGregors) and I have replaced the whipping a time or two. |
