| Re: Spining questions. Hey xix, The wd40 won't effect the spine - it'll just help the spin. I haven't found any difference pulling up vs pushing down. I've only found it easier to push down for control and rolling. The mark you put at 12 o'clock (when pushing down) is the Neutral Bend Point (NBP). THIS MARK (NBP) goes to 9 o'clock (RH golfer), with the spine at 3 o'clock. |

| Re: Spining questions. Also, the last head I pulled, I had some WD40 in the shaft (and head), and I found that the epoxy came off really nicely (and easily) and there wasn't too much left in the hosel. It might be coincidence, or it might not. You may want to try it. (It did leave a bit of a very warm WD40 pool after the head came off, and I dumped the WD40 out. BTW, after pulling your head, make sure you've got a work glove on to pick it up. |

I'm a firefighter so I'll use my work gloves. I'll also use masses of WD40 when spining. Thanks for your help and knowledge,it's been invaluable. |
