The best of times, the worst of times!

Last fall I went out and got fitted for my first new set of clubs! Before the fit he had me hit into a golf simulater for over an hour using different clubs, shafts, etc. The clubs look and feel great although I have yet to hit a ball with them. ( it winter in Canada) What's the problem????

I was scoring about 105 on average with a mean slice. I play about twice a week in the summer. Here's the problem.

After practicing the hints and tips on this site my swing has really improved!! REALY IMPROVED! Posture, grip, wrist cock, wrist release, head behind the ball, hands ahead of the club face, fallow through, plane inside-outside, everything! I can now hear the SWOOOOOSH!!

ARE MY NEW FITTED CLUBS STILL FITTED FOR ME? Have I wasted my money?
I've only been able to 'air swing' because of the weather.

Keith

Re: The best of times, the worst of times!

as a general rule of thumb, if your hitting right the shaft may be too stiff, if your hooking the shaft may be too soft. if your hitting too high the shaft may have too much flex. If you feel as if your working too hard to swing may be too stiff. if your swinging within yourself, the ball feels good coming off the club and is down the fairway then you probably have properly fitted clubs.
