Change in Lie-angle

I was wondering about Lie angle adjustements. Which type of irons (material) can be adjusted by a Clubmaker?

Is it true, that the Lie angle has less effect as longer the club? I assume no adjustements for Driver, 3 and 5 wood?
How about Hybrids and 2 Iron?

Pretty much all irons can be bent. What the difference is is that some can only be bent 2°, while others can be bent 6° or more. Stainless steel (17-4) is the hardest, while forged clubs are the softest.

Some hybrids can be bent (the Ashton Xbrid is designed specifically for this), but on the whole, hybrids and fairway woods aren't meant to be bent.

But overall you're right - the longer clubs aren't effected by lie angle as much (but if you're getting your irons bent, bend 'em all!) This is why drivers are 58° for lie, and it almost doesn't matter how toe up or down you are. It's why trick shots work so well with drivers (hitting from a baseball tee, for example). The lie angle isn't a big deal, because of the loft (or lack thereof). But in the shorter irons, because there's so much backspin (or so much loft), the lie will influence the direction of your shot.

I've noticed myself that lie angle makes a huge difference in 8 iron on down. I left a lot of approach shots right last year. Then I had my clubs bent 2° up (as the lie board indicated). Lasers now, (except for when swing flaws creep in).
