Aerotech Patriot Shaft

I use a old Ping I3 steel driver and the stock shaft, a Ping Cushin ultralite graphic shaft by Aldila, broke yesterday (luckily at the end of the round).

The I3 has only got a 189cc head and everyone tells me that a modern big head will be that much more forgiving etc, so I'm not sure I'll keep it for that much longer, therefore when the main Ping retailer quoted £68 (and a few weeks) to reshaft it I was not too happy

A local club fitter then offered to reshaft with a Patriot for around £20 - and I can pick it up on Saturday - a no brainer really.

So it's clearly a bit late to ask this really (the club is being reshafted as I write) but any thoughts on this shaft? What if any difference could I expect?
