Golfsmith swingweight scale advice needed

Golfsmith sent me a 20% off discount, and I'm considering buying a swingweight tool. I don't know, however, if I should get this one http://www.golfsmith.com/products/240806 or this one, which is a little bit less expensive. http://www.golfsmith.com/products/14009

Does anyone have an advice/reviews/recommendations about those two swingweight scales? I'm kind of leaning towards getting the first one, because it can measure the weight of components too besides the club's swingweight, but I'm not sure how important that really is.

i do not know much about club customisation. but i would pm lowpost or wait for him to respond to your question about this as he is a club builder and probably your man to talk to on this ]

If yoy've already got a gram scale, you've already got the capability of measuring component weight. If you don't have a gram scale, the the more expensive one is a nice combo item.

But why not wait until the end of the month, and do the friends and family sale - 40% off clubmaking tools.

I'm pretty sure the discount code will be FFJ06, and it runs June 27 to July 4.

Do they send out an email or something with the discount code?
