| Should I Have The Shafts Shortened ? My clubs are of standard length. On a previous set of clubs that I owned, I had the shafts shortened and I felt much more comfortable with more control and greater distance than the clubs of standard length that I now use. I tend to choke down when using these clubs. I wonder if it is wise to shorten the shafts or continue to play choking down on each club.I was told by a golfing buddy that my swing is upright and therefore it might be wise to shorten the shafts . Any suggestions? Thanks for any input you have to offer. Joe |

| Re: Should I Have The Shafts Shortened ? Hi Joe, For those with upright swings, we tend to actually use longer clubs. Otherwise, with shorter clubs you have to bend the lies up. If you're more bent over, shorter clubs or flatter lies might be the answer. |
