| Custom Fitting Saturday I am going to be custom fit to my Callaway X-tours. The fitting is free and the guy charges 5 bucks per club that needs to have the loft/lie adjusted. Any suggestions as to what I should look for. This guy comes highly reccomended. |

| Re: Custom Fitting I'd be looking at dispersion, swing speed, tempo and release point to determine such things. If the release is not mid-late to late, then kick point is more or less irrelevant. If you're happy with dispersion, I'd leave the shafts alone. If you want more distance, you can bend the clubs which will lower trajectory. The faster your tempo, the stiffer the shaft. However, once I get you into a 'general flex', then I can look to tip stiffness to determine how to aid you in getting your trajectory where you want it. |
