| Re: should i stick to 9 holes??? Hi Glyn, Have a look at Greg's lessons and have patients. The best advice I can give is to grip the club as light as possible at all times, a tight grip causes so many other faults that would not normally be there. Hope this helps. Ian. |

| Ian Great point about grip tension. I too try and hold the club as light as possible. Any tension in the grip results in tension up the forearms then the upper arms then the shoulders. All this tension actually slowes your swing speed down considerably. A good comparison is the 100 meter sprinter, he aims to relax is muscles as much as possible. Why? because fast muscles react quicker than tense ones and in the golf swing this means improved swing speed ![]() |
