| scoring in mixed medalford&stableford Hello everyone,If a comp. consists of medalford for the first 9 holes and stableford scoring for the back 9 holes, using full handicap,it is my understanding that for an even number handicap ie.2,4,6,8,10 etc, half the handicap is deducted from the gross medalford score, the remainder used to calculate the stableford points. What is the procedure for an uneven number handicap ie.1,3,5,7,9 etc.Is it correct to say eg.19 handicap,9 strokes be deducted from the gross medalford, and the remaining 10 used for stableford purposes?,or 11 handicap, resulting in 5 medalford and 6 stableford.? Thanks, springbok. |
