Aim and Align Slightly Left

part of my course management recently is to aim and align slightly left and this works wonders if you usually fade the ball...

All good as long as it's not aiming directly at trouble such as OOB or water, etc. Aiming at rough's ok though...

i regularly set up aiming for the bunkers on the left side of the course and let the ball fade away from the trouble towards the middle of the fairway, i find it works great doing that and i seem to have total confidence's that the ball will turn to the right. about 98% off my shots go to the right and only about 2% go straight.

I think we're in the territory of 'whatever works for you', aren't we? I think I'd just about go for the bunker principle, in that I'm pretty confident it wouldn't be absolutely disastrous to be in one, where as accidentally hitting a straight one into a lake is a bit different.

I'm getting this fro the Dr Bob Rotella book, and I have to say I agree with the rest of it, and the effect saying 'don't hit it in the water' has on most peoples' minds, but I've no doubt some peoples' heads are much stronger than my own!

That said, I regularly stand on the teeing ground, 18 times in every round, as it happens, and think to myself that I should aim straight down the middle......

Just in case I actually hit one straight.......!!!
