They are cavity back, steel shaft and the sticker states `Appolo` I cant get any info on the web or ebay. can you help. the irons have letters on the base if i remember they are P.R.K.A. but im not 100%. anyway can you help with any info rating, costing, quality are they clones good or bad. your thoughts welcome IS IT WORTH ME SEARCHING ON ??? Merry Xmas & hope we all get what we want.......... A lower handicap George |

| Re: Appolo Irons` info wanted please Hello George, Welcome to GTO! The 'Apollo' sticker on the shaft is from the shaft manufacturer, not the club manufacturer. They are the world's second largest shaft manufacturer. Could the clubs be PRGR?? I know of a manufacturer by that name. But: there are thousands of club manufacturers and you often see "clone" clubs with all sorts of names you wouldn't normally find. So, you could struggle to find it by brand name. In fact, some retailers have foundry's that manufacturer product lines for them with the same head as others but with different trade markings. So, that just adds to the possibilities! I'd start off by asking your friend where he bought them from. That might be a good start. People's opinions differ but having been a qualified club maker for about 10 years now, not all clones are bad. In fact, some are excellent. I suggest you go to this website: http://www.swingweight.com and post a question there too. It is a site dedicated to club making. Not much help I'm afraid! ![]()

| Re: Apollo Irons` info wanted please Thank you for that Graham. What a quick responce !!...... But now I know why im finding it difficult to find answers. I know that my freind bought the clubs second hand & that was the only info on the clubs, I'll have to recheck the letters. He bought them because they were cheap & they looked better than what he had, cavity back etc; We don't even know what shaft flex they are, but he says he not worried about the tech details because he just wants to enjoy the game. I think that just about sums it up............enjoy the game! Thanks again George |

| Re: Appolo Irons` info wanted please I have a couple Synchron II fairway woods with Apollo steel shafts. I got these off of ebay. I wanted to try a 7 and 9 wood and didnt want to spend a lot of money at the time. The clubs are fine and are effective with this shaft. |
