Re: Grip : Interlock/Baseball/Overlap

Interlocking for me.

This is the way my dad taught me so this is what I'm used to.

I've tried the overlap but I found myself gripping too tight because it felt like the club was going to come out of my hand.

Re: Grip : Interlock/Baseball/Overlap

I use the two-finger overlap as Fyruk does. I also have a Fryuk swing though.... I don't know why, but his swing just makes sence to me and feels natural. If I use the baseball my right hand seems to take over and I always push it. With the 2 finger ovelap I even sometimes push it, the drill I do for that is the 3-finger overlap (just enough right hand on the club to guide it) untill my left gets control again. I have to swing a bit slower because of the lack of control, but it really helps my swing. The first big drive (over 240yds) I had was with the 3finger overlap. I am speaking of the driver though, I never do more than a 2-finger with the irons.

sorry for the lenght
