| Know what you're buying... I recently purchased a full set of Pinseeker Formula I irons and a Matzie "Velvet Touch" putter from two EBAY vendors. The Pinseekers I knew all about, because my stepfather had the same set 25 years ago, and I'd played and practiced with them many times back then. The price was more than right, and these clubs had received a regripping upgrade from the originals. This purchase was a great introduction to EBAY for me. Matzie putters are also well known to me, and this one made a good addition to a full set of Lynx Tigress G (graphite shaft) metal woods and irons I'd purchased for next to nothing at a thrift shop as a gift for a co-worker. Bargains exist in many sources, if you know what to look for and do a little research. |
