Re: Down/Up hill shots

The easiest way to remember is the ball position always moves up. So for downhill lie ball position is back in your stance (moved up the hill), uphill ball position is forward in the stance (moved up the hill), keep in mind also uphill lies move the ball flight left, downhill moves right. In addition your lofts will change uphill a 7 irons acts more like an 8 or 9, downhill a 7 iron acts more like 6 or 5 iron. The severity of the hill will determine how much you adjust.

Thanks.
My shots with short irons had been correct but when I tried same with long irons it was a disaster.
