| Re: Really bad situation I have tried this looking at the hole whilst putting tip. I was on the practise putting green and I was amazed! My first 25ft put ended up 1ft from the hole! I deteriated a bit after that but I still got them closer than when I was looking at the ball. Why do you say "for your first putt"? I have not had the confidence to take this to the course yet though. |

| Re: Really bad situation In my experience, looking at the hole for your shorter putts tends to leave long comebackers if you miss. But I've found that looking at the hole on lag putts (often) leaves no more than a couple feet. I'd wager a guess that I'm 50% looking at the cup from inside 5 feet. |
