  • One plane or Two

We get lots of free videos on youtube etc of the golfswing and then there are those which we pay good money for, but those teaching these swings do not often make known if they are teaching a one plane or two plane swing. Do you stand fairly erect at setup or bend on more of an angle, do I swing my arms up high or around with my shoulders and do I start my downswing with my hips or do I drop or pull my arms down for them to catch up on my
hips. I wonder how many people out there have both swings incorporated into their own.
Be fair tell us what you are teaching.

I agree with you, there should be fairness on teaching. We know that being a golfer we really want a perfect swing to be executed. Just be fair guys!

I am a little surprised at the lack of interest in my thread, thank you jack for your imput. personaly I had a fair bit of trouble with this issue myself when starting, was allways told to stand tall at address as in a two plane swing, but thenI would try and swing the club on the same plane as my shoulders as in a one plane. The result was that I would straighten my spine in the backswing resulting in a a pull or a slice. So my advice to anyone having trouble with their swing, check and see are you a one planer or a two. It might be worth checking this site out.
