Yeah Ive tried it and im still trying to sell it. Didnt help my slice one bit, a teacher did that. It did help with my tempo and takeaway though but all in all its just another high price piece of equipment that targets the amateurs like us.

I can still hit big slices with a medicus.

Want to cure your slice? A better plan is 'the inside approach'.

A cheap version is called 'a shoebox'. Put your ball 2" away from the shoebox. Swing, and don't hit the shoebox.

i will try that in the yard with some plastic balls I have and let ya know if I hit the box. So your saying that I am bringing the club head from the outside of the ball and hitting across it ? My ball usually goes straight and then curves left drastically. Every once in awhile it will stay straight. Thats maybe one or two times per round though.

What I have been doing lately is teeing the ball alot lower so the ball doesnt go as high in the air. This help me keep the ball closer to the fairway but its still frustrating because the ball will land in the middle of the fairway and then skirt to the right. It has a tremendous amount of spin on it.

              Re: Training aids

If you really want to fix your slice the best bet is to go get a lesson. Be careful though, make sure you make the right choice in a teaching pro. A good one should be able to help fix your slice in one lesson, he might not cure it completely but he should definitely tighten up your ball flight at the least. Training aids aren't worth the money. They really don't help your game that much and to spend upwards of $100 on them is insane.
