  • Putting: Getting an acccurate line

    Hi Bud,

We will assume that when you align the text on the ball, you are doing this part accurately. I think the problem probably occurs when you try and align the putter face to the ball. A good dway of solving this is to have a line on the back of your putter to help you witht hye alignment. You can do this as a temporary measure by adding a strip of white tape or somethig similar. The photo below showes an Odyssey putter with a black line. I think something like this would help you align the face of the putter to the text on the ball and thus sink more putts!!! Give it a go.

    Putting alignment

Thanks for the advice!!!!! I currently use a Ping Anser 2i which has one black line on it for alignment but I think I will use the white tape idea for additional visual aid. Maybe I'll look into the Odyssey 2ball putter when the price is more reasonable!

    Thanks again!
