I believe 275. I did not have to pay as one of our companies we do business with picked up the tab. Fot the 275 you get a nice golf towell and shrimp or chicken tacos with fresh salsa at the turn. The club house down there was amazing. You could rent these condos off the golf course for 450-600 a night. I thought that included golf and may not be a bad deal.....no golf. This course litterally had waste bunkers and sand everywhere as you can imagine. The amazing thing is the amount of workers they used to do nothing more than rake it. I stopped counting at 40 through 7 holes. Literally you walk through a pathway to one of the tee boxes and after you hit a team of 5-6 people rake the area afterwards.

This course was featured on Shell's Wonderful World of Golf on the Golf Channel last night here in the US (31st May). Jack Nicklaus took on Lee Travino - Lee won by a stroke I think. The course looked absolutely amazing - but the "rough" - man!! Lee missed the fairway on the 16th hole par 5 and took a triple bogey 8 trying to get back on the course.
The course record is only 67 I think which gives you an idea of how tough it is - how did you score Indy?

By rough you mean sand right? I dont remember any rough. If you got off the fairway it was tough. The started was from New Jersey and warned us about this type of cactus that looks like a buncha balls all put together. He told us that if it sticks you it will hurt and be a b%^ch to get out of your skin. Sure enough I tried to pop a ball out on this steep hill and lost my balance and stuck myself. Ouch....I played well on the front (42) and blew up on the back (50) for a 92. On the back i had a 9 a and a few 8's.....I got off the fairway a little. It is a brutal course if you arent hitting the driver well....The tacos at the turn with the fresh salsa was key to my game going down hill i think.

Yeah - I meant the sand - I think a 92 on that course is heroic for a mid-handicapper. From what I saw, if you're not on the fairway, then you may as well be on the moon - waste bunkers everywhere! But the view out to the Pacific (or is it the Sea of Cortez?) looked fantastic. Nicklaus said that he wanted golfers to tee of towards the sea on as many holes as possible
The Tacos sound good - get any sour cream and guacamole with those as well...?
