This is the swing I will start practicing. I think the force is right here too. Not much effort, but I'll come back to this after I get comftable with the swing.

Question is - how long a transition from backswing to downswing is? How much do I crunch my stumeck and how low do I let my hands drop?

I think I can do it in many ways and get a straight shot, as long as I get to the address position at the time of impact. Lower one drops hands the deeper is the angle with club and wrists - less time to hinge - means more speed to cluphead?
BUT also you loose some accuracy and timing comes more critical?

Just a comment on how this was shot. I could not take the camera far enough to get a full image. So I turned my camera 90 degrees. After shooting, I turned it back on my editing software. (Well 92 degrees as I did not get the camera squered:-)

I compared my followthrough to a model shot of a pro. Looks like my club swings more to the left after an impact. Like Ian wrote, I am not hitting "through" the ball. My wrists straighten after the impact and the club goes more left. My arms are keeping a good angle. (The goal would be to get a little straighter path after the impact to prevent slices.)

Fixing starts from downswing by keeping a deeper angle in wrist for a longer time and also using a little more of my upper body. Arms are little late - not quite squered on impact and my hips rotate to left a little. I correct it with my hands, but it makes the followthrough start left earlier than would be optimal.

I started 6 month ago. I have played 7 times now. (Three in Spain in last two weeks.) Can't play in Finland at the moment. I was skiing today and looks like I will be doing it for few weeks more :-)

I scored 95 in Altorreal! with two penalties and some bad opening shots! I need to work more to be able to keep the target line. When I get nervious, my game is terrible.
