I wanted to upload an image of what I need to work on with my swing. I did try to explain it as a comment on video clip "my swing", but an image makes it more clear.

I don't want to copy an other golfers movement, but comparing the path can help me to notice something to develop. Here I think it,s the "hitting through th ball" and keeping the wrist angle. My wrists open more than straight. Pro has his wrist straight and the force of the club bends my wrists. This means that I am hitting more left than my model is. I should get slices, but I am correcting it with my hands. Arms might be a little late for the impact - so hips are already turn passed squere when I hit the ball.

I feel this is a question of practice. I just need to hit a lot of shots and get comfortable with my swing. Maybe experiment a little with wrists and feeling of hitting through of sweeping the ball. (Maybe I should listen to waltz:-)

Dont copy that mans swing. Its zach Johnson he has a VERY storng grip so he has to swing down the line after impact for a very long time to make sure his club face doesent shut and hit big hook!

Your position is PERFECT, A bent right wrist means your impact position is perfect. GREAT PLAY!

Thanks Rick,
I can't see how my ball flies because I am hitting inside. The area is about 70 meters long. I am trying to keep my eyes at the impact place, so after my swing - the ball is hitting the backwall. This makes me unsure of my swing. (And the fact that I am just learning it, of course:-)

This is why I wanted to look at some ones swing - and I just happened to be Zach. AND the fact that I got so fast feedback - to be careful about copying and misinterpreting things from Zach swing - is very very important to me.

I would have copyed it - and forgot that I need to feel my own swing - and get feedback from my own body and the result of the swing.

This is a great site! I need to get back to the "range" as soon as possible...

If you want to copy a swing copy someone who just has a normal grip and a good technical swing maybe, Justin Rose

Hi Hannu,

I like ben cranes swing on that site it is a very simple trouble free swing.

Yours is looking good too.

Once you have the confidence to give it a good hit you will be fine.

Thanks Ian,
I have been warned not to make a hobby of analysing and changing my swing. I am starting to believe that all I miss is about 10000 shots:-) -> three months is I do 100 swings/day.

I read from Tiger's book that impact moment should look like address. I make a small sample from different players - Ben is on it, too.

Link is here: http://koti.tnnet.fi/net73/hip_rotation_collection.jpg

Compared to impact players have their hands higher, torso (spine) is more upright. Hips is rotated more and more to right than in address. I toke to the collection different angles of hip rotation - it increases from Ben to the last player:-)

(I am careful about the swing because I do practise swings with out a ball in my living room. I think that it has a risk of learning something wrong. Would be hard to unlearn something that has been automate to an uncounsious routine.)

Well, soon I'll be able to go to the range and check how the ball flies.
