Matt, I think I see the flaw. 1st of all nice swing. your backswing is excellent shoulders well behind the ball. I think the problem you are having is on the foward transition. You hips make a huge lateral move such that you have disconnected from your arms. If you notice, you are already on the outside of the left foot before you even hit the ball. You might want to try putting something on the outside of your left foot to encourage more hip rotation and less lateral movement. In addition, your arms are trying to catch up with your body and your left wrist is breaking down at impact. I think all the above can account for fat and thin shots.

good swing but too much sway. work toward a more efficient swing, remembering the Penick magic move of simply dropping the right elbow into your ribcage as you shift weight to the left foot.
