Hi Matt,

This perspective is called down the line, behind would be looking at your back.

I like it, you maintain your head quite still throughout, I suppose you focus on proper contact.

If I may make a suggestion for something you can try. I see that you make a full backswing to parallel which would probably bring the left arm-club angle to less than 90*, if it were me, I'd consider this over swinging. Not bad in itself but I prefer control over power. When I over swing, I lose just a bit of control for very little additional power. When I want to recover this control, I prevent this angle from going less than 90* which means I won't bring the club to parallel, not even the woods. I find that I can hit almost as far but much more precisely. I could be hitting 10 yards short but 20 yards closer, if you can see how I can send it sideways on bad hits.

More importantly, when I maintain maximum control of the club, I can strike the ball much more precisely and much closer to the center of the clubface which means I'm transmitting the maximum momentum to the ball that my ability will allow. So, it may appear that I swing with less effort but I'm actually striking the ball to a greater effect. It's like comparing 50% of 100 and 100% of 75, which is better?

Try that a few times and go back to whatever you like to do to compare, you might be surprised.

Something else to try. Look at the ball being struck by the club. It takes a bit of getting used to because we tend to lift the head to follow the ball to its target.
