Re: Temperent Misfunction

Hmmmm now I like watching - now back to golf,

I dislike it when someone talks to me when I am going through my pre shot routine.

Oh, another thing, - is someone telling me what my score is rather than asking me.

No no no Scragger, I would rather be asked my score than told it. I perceive myself as honest. That's where I am coming from.

VP, rest assured, I for one do not and will never question your integrity...

Understands your point entirely............

My point was that IMHO my responsibility when marking another player's card in a comp round is to know how many strokes they have taken on each and every hole.

I do not question them, nor do I tell them "so, you've had so many strokes then"....

I just mark the card and we talk about it after either 9 or 18.

Actually prefer not to get asked to verify the card after 9 holes, because that means I then don't check my own score as well......

By the by, I am looking forward to a round with you if and when that is possible......

Cheers

Re: Temperent Misfunction

Isn't it against golf etiquette to not watch someone's ball? I am fairly young in the golf game, but I know respect and how to show it towards my other partners on the course - regardless of how my game is. I mean, are we all competing for the PGA tour that we have to be in "game mode" when it's not even our turn to swing? I imagine slow play would be an issue as well if everyone you played with never looked for your ball's flight/direction.
