Re: 3 Skill Golf Report

My driving range is quite a distance away from my home so I don`t always get a chance to practice the drills. Can these drills be done at home with the same effectiveness?

hi arny,
you could practice sk1 outside on a mat,as this is the method used in the book. also sk2 with the headcover could be practiced.from then on the need to see ball flight comes into play.
you could probably mix it up, with certain drills at home & one session a week at the range.

Re: 3 Skill Golf Report (hiccup)

I have had a terrible hiccup with the 3sk. All of a sudden, I could not play at all. The ball might go anywhere. Even sideways! In the end I had to go for a lesson. The pro immediately spotted that I was coming too far inside on the backswing. So, I was overdoing it. He has put me basically right but I have to go to the range to ingrain it again. Just a suggestion in case anyone else goes the same way.

Yes Bri, you have to watch that one. Coming too much from the inside is normally associated with a very low swing plane and can cause many problems including shanking. Keep that image of striking down on the nail.
