| Club Membership Drive's Would anyone care to give me some advice on how to promote new membership at my local country club? We have a nice golf course par 72-18 holes and a swimming pool. Our club house features a banquet hall and a bar. But we don't have tennis courts or any other activities. Please reply if you have any idea's. |

| Re: Club Membership Drive's Do you own the course? Or are you a member just helping out the owner? And where is the course? Do they have a website? Last edited by GregJWillis; 03-06-2008 at 08:36 PM. |

| Re: Club Membership Drive's Sorry, I should have read the thread title, it's a Member Drive, silly me. First thought that comes to mind, is to have a free guest day. Members can take up to 3 guests around for 18 holes and use the facilities all day. Have lunch on the club (minus drinks) and this will expose the course to a lot of potentials. Then have the membership flyer ready to hand out to your guests with all the costs associated with the membership. Maybe have the staff (Pro/GM/Food Beverage Mgr) there for a question/answer period at the bar after the member's group's rounds. Then have some other perk in there for them... Something like if they refer another guest to the club, they get some amount off their first month's membership fee.

| Re: Club Membership Drive's Great ideas, Greg. Also make arrangements with the local Pro Shop if you have any. 10% off you first set of clubs, or free fitting or something. |
