Re: Help Try sticking a tee in the ground, level with the top of the grass, three inches in front of the ball. Swing to take out the tee. If you don't like that, go to your local used golf shop and buy a cheap wedge - the cheaper the better. Setup with your ball 1" away from a tee chalk or piece of 4x4, towards the target side edge, like below: <--- target _________ O If you come from the outside, you'll hammer the 4x4.

Re: Help If you grab a golf ball without a club, stand sideways to where you want to throw it, like you were at address. Now over the top move, like many high handicappers would have you throwing the ball like a base ball over handed, you want to throw it like a softball more underhanded with the right hand and arm. Then just take that feel to the golf club, if the ball is going right, then you need a stronger grip with the left hand to get the club face closed, but you still keep the underhanded feel with the right hand. Hopefully that will help, good luck.

Re: Help Hi guys hope you are all doing well. I followed your advice and here is where it took me. Go Navy, Before I hit a ball a threw some balls overhand and then some underhand. It was a good tip for feeling for me what the right hand should do. I think at times I am more of a overhand thrower. I get what you are trying to tell me and it was of great benefit. Cheers. Lowpost, I have a 7 iron from a past set of clubs which I used for your tip regarding the 4x4 piece of wood exercise. It was a god send. The first ball I hit missed the wood with perfect contact, (impact tape showed dead centre of sweetspot), nice draw. The next two I battered the wood. I hit another eighty or so balls some hit the wood but the majority missed and produced good contact. It is amazing how well you can hit a ball when you are not focusing on actually hitting the ball but focusing on missing that piece of 4 x 4. A great great tip. Brian, I have numerous videos of my swing, after reading your post I reviewed these videos prior to going to the range. I make a full turn and have back to target. What struck me was the fact that on the start of the downswing my back / torso turned very quickly towards the target. I took your advice and tried to hold on and keep my back facing the target longer. In doing so dropping the club on plane. This really did stop me from throwing the right shoulder out.A great piece of advice. All in all I think I can overcome this problem after following your advice. I would like to thank all of you for your individual input. Three great tips which I really appreciate. They do work. Thank you.
