Its bad enough, though just about excusable, for a long putt or a delicate sandy but teeing off on a Par 5. FFS give me a break. Stuff another hot dog in your gob, slurp from the supasize cola, anything but please just shut tfu.

it also really annoys me when a amateur of someone hits a horrible skull/thin shot and you know it is going to go flying at leat 50yds past the whole and they say "common, bite bite", like it was a well hit shot on the green and then hope they get some backspin.

The only thing that bugs me more than the 'in da houle!'ers is when they've got the caddy and the player mic'd, and the announcers are rambling on over them, spouting useless drivel.

My personal favourite moment: Idiot Dan Hicks is babbling on about how he'd love to be in Tigers' head, figuring Tiger was wondering where his 3 stroke lead had gone, how is Rocco playing so well, etc. I'm thinking "baloney! Tiger is reading his putt, trying to see the line and feel the weight! Idiot!!"

How about the asshats that let out the war hoop on every shot screaming at the top of their lungs for a shot that goes out of bounds. They need to start throwing these idiots off the course.

No, it's not against the law to have fun.

But imagine a soccer match where every time a marquee player kicked the ball you got a 'GET IN THE NET' scream, or football with every play resulting in a 'GET IN THE ENDZONE!' yell.


I'm relatively new to golf (chronologically speaking). But one of the things I liked about it is that it wasn't like every other sport... but it's certainly heading that way.

Next thing you know, there will be people on internet boards, crying about people who cry about crybabies...

Golf is heading that way...lol...oh man this is been going on for years, Arnies Army was way worst then that, use to give Jack Nicklaus fits, calling him fat boy, coughing every time he putted, just because he was messing with their idol Arnie....Greg Norman got so mad at one torny he caught the guy in the parking lot after the round and was gonna put an ass woopin on him...lmao. Wish they televised that, I would have paid extra to see that...lol.

The reason you see it more or hear it more now, is because the mics are better and TV is much more prevalent. But the one thing you have to remember is those people are paying the bills for them pros, that is the reason they get the kind of money these days. Hard to criticize when they paid to be there and we are just watching it on tv. ..hey at least they wait until after they hit, most of the time.

I don't give a rip if they have fun but JHC do you only come out to yell "get in the hole"? Were you just given tickets but don't care about golf at all? It is just ridiculous when a player hits the ball in a sand trap on another fairway and someone is yelling like it is the shot of the century. You can have a great time and still not be a total idiot. I mean these people are having a contest to see who can yell the loudest in the shortest time interval after the shot so they can be heard on TV. Imagine being a player and hearing this over and over and over again. Some players I am sure have to brace themselves for the onslaught after they make their shot. It is not cool anymore, it is not funny and it is not entertaining for anyone other than the ignorant fool that does it.

Great, "in the hole", I haven't heard that one before. Oh, thanks for saying "you're the man" for that 60th time today it is not getting old at all. And that long sustained yell is just great: "woooooooooooooooooooooooo". How entertaining. So we need to make the game accessible to everyone and not just the country club crowd. Well I am no where near the country club type. I play only public courses and none of them have a bar with a wine selection or even a beer tap. STFU people!
