3-Club Competition

Tomorrow I have to play in a 3-club competition (including a putter) which I have played in for 10 years and have learnt that taking my 4+ wood (best part of my game), 7 iron and pitching wedge and putting with my 4-wood gives me the best chance of scoring.

I am intruiged over what clubs other people would choose to play with?

Re: 3-Club Competition

I use my 3 hybrid, 9 iron and putter. My hybrid will give me a good 200 yards+ from the tee, a good distance off the deck from the fairway and by gripping down will deliver a good bump and run for many distances. The 9 will allow for good high green approach shots with a chance of stopping, pitches, chips and get you out of sand. My putter is my scoring club and will always be in my three.
