| Re: A short Blog entry that's not really a blog entry.. More of the same yesterday, another round in the buffer zone and no handicap adjustment. Though 37 Stableford points was enough for me to win my grade in the day comp. ![]() After carding only 6 points (3 2 pointers and 2 scratches) for the first 5 holes, I then went on a "birdie blitz" with birdies at 3 of the next 4 holes to make the turn with 20 points. The back 9 was all pars & bogeys and I would card a further 17 points. Disappointed to scratch the relatively easy par 5 18th hole. Of the 3 holes I would scratch, 2 resulted from from poor tee shots and one was just poor putting after a bit of a brain fade and charging a 45 foot big breaking up hill putt about 20 feet past. At least Mum will be happy to see my name in the paper this morning... ![]() Cheers ![]()
