Long Sleeve Golf Shirt

Hello all,

I have fallen in love with golf and I love to play as much as I can but I have ran into one problem. I have very pale skin which causes we me to burn in the sun quite easily. This affects my golf game because by the time I put on my sunscreen, I sweat if off in a few holes and each time I put it back on my hands are slippery messing up my grip.

What long sleeve golf shirt would you recommend to play golf in on a hot humid summer day? I have been looking for something form fitting like under armor and I would wear my polo over the long sleeve. Any recommendations?

Thanks

Re: Long Sleeve Golf Shirt

Oddly enough, I was going to recommend an under armour heat gear long sleeve under a cooling golf shirt like a UA heat gear or Nike Dri-Sphere or Adidas ClimaCool

Re: Long Sleeve Golf Shirt

I googled the heatgear and it sounds great but I have never worn under armor. Since it is tight, does it get real hot?

Re: Long Sleeve Golf Shirt

I made the mistake of wearing a heatgear sleeveless tee (compression) as a 'layer' on a colder day.

It took the slightest breeze and circulated it around my body.

It feels weird a) to put on (as it's designed to fit like a sausage casing), and b) to wear under stuff as it slips around on top of the UA.

But on a really hot day, or a warm day with little wind, I put on my sleeveless UA shirt before my Nike dri-sphere or my UA heatgear golf shirt. I stay much cooler. I hate to sound like a fanboy, but UA is the real deal.

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.

I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.

For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
