| Titleist new National fitting centre (Scotland) Spent the morning at the new Titleist custom fitting centre at Kingsknowe Golf Club in Edinburgh. I didnt even know it was there til I mentioned to my club pro I was looking for a new 3 wood. The place doesnt even come up on the Titleist website as it only opened 2 months ago and they have been working on word of mouth to build up slowly and will start publicising soon! Got fit for a 3wood (13.5 deg, graffalloy pro launch red and a 17deg hybrid with S300 shaft) to plug the gap between driver (carry 288) and 3 iron (carry 218) Pretty happy with them all BUT, to be honest I think I prefer the G10 and Mizuno F60 clubheads for the 3 wood. Do you think Im safe to go with the same specs in the other clubs or would I be best to get on a launch monitor with them as well? Also found out I needed a lower lie angle on my wedges... but thats another story and the future Mrs will kill me if I take any MORE money out of the wedding fund!!! Cheers J |
