driver shaft for lower ball flight I currently play an Adams GT 363 driver at 8 degs loft. It has the standard Adams ProLite Grafalloy - STIFF Flex shaft. I love the club and hit it a long way. Trouble is it goes very high, higher than my playing partners' 10 deg drivers. Can anyone suggest a new shaft for me that will allow a lower ball flight? I play to a seven handicap.

Hello, the ProLite Grafalloy is a lighter shaft. To lower your ball flight by changing shaft you would need to go to a heavier shaft. tour players play driver shafts over 100 grams to keep thier balls from balloning. Your ProLite Grafalloy is close to half that

Re: driver shaft for lower ball flight Have you had any other drivers that you hit with a high ball flight? If so maybe it is not your shaft so much... maybe you are staying on your backside a little long. Last edited by TXSBEST00; 03-29-2006 at 08:58 PM.
