US Open - Torn...

Obviously would like Ross Fisher to keep going as the leaders come back to him, but, at the same time, would like Glover to triumph.

He seems to walk up to the ball, size up the shot and give it a whack. An antitode to the tour 5 hour plus round (tour? I've seen that at Hersham Village ffs) and the kind of player you wouldn't mind in your Sunday 4-ball - at least you get a chance for a wet in the bar before the old lady wonders where the hell you are.

I felt Glover deserves the win, but I understand it is always conflicting when your countryman is just right behind. I am glad the final 9 holes are actually very exciting.

I think Mickelson had a disadvantage. Having to deal with drunken crowd either on a positive or negative way must be quite tiring. Probably why his performance picked up on Monday, when most people have gone back to work.

Glover did well, great finish.

Ross Fisher is coming of age and I am sure will bag a major at some time, he is also a very nice guy.
