| Re: Downswing help Richie, If you put an old shaft in the ground next to you forward foot and angle it back toward your hip this is your forward movement limit. On the downswing, the first move brings forward hip to the shaft but never turns backward in a twisting motion. Forward hip to the shaft, rear hip comes in line to face the target. GolfBald |

| Re: Downswing help Never start the downswing with your hands. You'll completely throw your swing out of position, lose power and decrease accuracy. Check out Ben Hogan's book. He provides an excellent analysis related to this topic. I think it's the best golf book ever. Simple, yet precise. Alot of people think Hogan had the best swing of all time. ![]() |
