Thumbs up Give Tiger a break

Poor old Tiger, if he plays well he is hounded by everyone. If he plays poorly he's hounded by everyone giving him advise.

May be if we ignored him for a while he would melt in with the rest of the tour and start playing to his true potential.

Any way I've always thought, that on his day, Els is the best player at the moment.

And what about grumpy old Vijay!!

Re: Give Tiger a break

i agree. right now tiger is only playing his c+/b- game, yet that is still enough to compete with everyone else including vijay, ernie, and phil. when tiger is playing his A game nobody can compete with him like in 2000. he is still ahead of jack's pace. i was listening to the golf channel the other day when they were talking about other players having 3 or 5 top ten's with 0 wins and they were saying that these palyers were having a good year. What about tiger with 1 win and like 10 top 10's shouldn't he get credit too?

Re: Give Tiger a break

Why do you think we are not giving him a "break". Or are you talking in extram generalities, like what the world thinks when the most recognizable human on the earth suddently becomes human again?

We've seen the best he's had to offer though I'm not saying he won't win again.

Re: Give Tiger a break

Tiger's not even in his prime yet as far as golf goes. Most players don't hit their stride until their 30's. Tiger in my opinion is going through much of what Jack did. IN the late 20's ones metabolism changes. Tiger is going through the change now. He must adjust his equipment and swing to match his metabolism. I think you will see a different mind set and strategy in coming years with Eldrick. The best is yet to come!

Re: Give Tiger a break

I don't think Eldrick is jumping out of bed and running to the range.

Do you blame him???

Re: Give Tiger a break

Thta's right Women and Golf don't usually mix. Look at Monty with his recent personal troubles. Now he's got it sorted he's playing better again.
