Re: WHat Putter Do You Use? Ping Answer2i. Have had it for 8 years. Used Pings all before that. Just always used to them. Everytime I try someone's 300$ putter, I expect too much out of it...like that is supposed to make the ball go into the hole, instad of my stroke. Then when I go back, I make more with the old Ping. Silly, I know. Whatever works, right?

Re: WHat Putter Do You Use? I have a zappa by proline with a polymer insert. The swing weight feels great and for those tricky downhillers hitting off the toe doesn't cause any putter wooble. The ex wanted to buy me a new putter for my birthday so off to golf world we headed (what more could a guy ask for?), anyway after 4 1/2 hours and about 80 clubs later thats what I walked out with. She never took me to another golf shop Go figure????????? ![]()

| Re: WHat Putter Do You Use? I use a Ping Zing 2 Steel which I have had for many years (I am not sure how many but probably 8 or 9 years). I started using it after my TPM putter (like Nick Faldo used to win the Masters) was stolen. Its a bit of a custom job: it is 35.25" in length, 4.2* loft, 20g of extra weight and was built for me by the WRX centre in Pheonix. I loved the putter as soon as I tried it out. At the time I tried at least 100 putters from all the manufacturers. Some were good but this was great. It fits my setup perfectly and I feel so comfortable with it and as a result I putt very well with it. This time, if it does get stolen, my specs are on file so I can get another made within 48 hours! ![]()

Re: WHat Putter Do You Use? I actually take two putters to the course, and decide on the practice green. I've got an Oddyssey 2 ball clone (fantastic for alignment, and great on medium to slow greens), and I've got an Alien 100 heel-toe which I'm very comfortable with, and I'm deadly with on speedy greens. (I find the mallet 2ball has much less feel).

Re: WHat Putter Do You Use? I have a Ping Darby (not the isotope face) have had it for five years and cannot find a reason to buy a new one. The last three months i have not been happy with my putting stroke but am still averaging less than 30 putts per round so cannot complain

Re: WHat Putter Do You Use? Liquid Metal Fully Amorphous 2 Limited Edition Number 1265 Customised to 30". Greatest feeling putter I have ever used. Feels like a balata faced putter but solid metal. I originally bought it simply because it had Cobalt in it!!! It was lurking at the back of a barrel of clearance items in a local Pro shop, the Pro was retiring and the shop was getting taken over by one of those Nationwide companies that runs pro shops so he was selling everything off. Since no one had really heard of Liquidmetal (they used to sponsor Azinger as I recall) it wasn't shifting. So I got a £220 putter for £20!!!!!! bargain of the century....If I have putting woes I have a back up STX Tour Sync which is pretty sweet as well. And if things are really going sour I take out my Wilson Harmonized or an old MacGregor Balata faced Anser style....I always come back to the FA-2 though.

Re: WHat Putter Do You Use? Odessey White Hot Centre Shaft. Much like the differnce of bore through shafts from regular, the centre shaft puts the shaft right at the top line. I love the feeling and prefer the blade style since I find the 2-ball too big to look down on. Very solid putter but I don't see many of them around. DBD
