Suck it up, girls - it's consistently 0*F here... and 3' of snow. The best I can do is hit into a net in my garage (for a short time, it's not insulated or heated, nor can I get there directly from the house, meaning a trip outside).

The only golf I get to play is with the Qmotions golf simulator and TW 2004 on the ol' laptop.

My solution to cold hands is to wear a hoodie with handwarmers in the pouch, and thermal underwear!

Ye well i dont hardly get cold when i playing! but i cant play in the week i have skool

Come on guys - until you folks get to -46* like it was here a week ago I don't want to hear any complaining. We still managed to get around (no golf though, obviously - the 3 feet of snow eliminated that a few months ago....)

I played yesterday in 32*C (94F), a bit of a breeze ... brilliant sunshine. That's what Sundays are meant for ...

Shot a 5-under 67 which made the day even more worth while but still lost money.

Ok Ok no need to rub it in Graham.......bars on your windows still a requirement round your part of the world?

Yeah of course, this is Africa after all!

In addition to bars the following are also standard equipment:
1. electrified fencing
2. 8ft walls with spikes
3. alarm system linked to security response
4. automated gates with intercom system
5. panic buttons in every room
6. a good check around in the drive and surrounds before you get out the car (especially when its dark)
7. you get out first, open the front door, give the all clear and then the family get out the car ... (especially when it's dark)
8. some houses have security video cameras linked to security as well.

Those than can afford it have private guards at the front gate too!

I have a similar system - get out of car, open the front door and call the family in - only because they don't want to be out in the freezing cold!!!!
