Baby it's cold outside

Good Morning all,

As I sit here at 7:00 a.m. perusing the best golf site on the www, I see that it is 11 degrees F. If I can stand it another week, The family and I are going to Mexico and I intend to play golf every day while there. This will be the first golf since I had rotator cuff surgery. The therapist told me not to use any power in my swing, which he said will probably improve my swing due to the fact that I have to think more about mechanics than strength. I don't know if this is correct, but I didn't think he was going to approve of me playing golf at all, so when he said that it was okay, I was ecstactic. I want thank all the administration and all the posters on GTO as I think this is a K**K A** site.

I feel ya'.

I was out playing golf on Friday and it was in the mid 60s, today I think it's about 19 degrees in Atlanta Ga. Thank goodness for the football playoffs, because I sure wouldn't be playing any golf.

I'll probably go to the local golf shop and putt a bit, perhaps hit some in their cage then come home and watch the games.

Come on Spring...........

You deffinately wouldn't like it here just outside London UK, it's currently 35.6°F - but nice clear blue sky . It does make you think before going down the range to hit some balls.

Greg, I love this site, I just wish I have known about it earlier, it's just fantastic. I hope to be playing much better golf this summer with all the assistance I've been getting here.

How long has the site been up?

I set it up about 3/4 years ago, but it has only recently started to gain some real momentum. It does seem to have a great bunch of regulars now, glad you are enjoying it.

Well it was 29°F here yesterday when I played and I suffered the dreaded frozen toes. Hit a couple of irons yesterday that felt very stingy on the hands....

Solution: handwarmers in mitts - now that makes sense

well it's a solution for the hands, but not for the **** shot
