Heineken Classic

Craig Perry and Nick O'hern are tied leaders at -15 with 14 hole left. Ernie Els is close behind at -13. I want to see Perry win this.

Re: Heineken Classic

Actually it is Craig Parry (Popeye) who is in the Heineken and doing well. However, you would have to back Els at this stage, surely. Class usually shows through in the final round.

But Jarrod Lyle would be the big story if he can finish strongly. From his death-bed 5 years ago to on the leader-board today must be the story of the tournament.

Re: Heineken Classic

9 to play now, Craig Parry (hehehe correct spelling this time) is outright leader by 1 at -16, Ernie Els is outright 4th at -13

Re: Heineken Classic

Nick O'hern and Craig Parry are off to the play off at -14. Jarrod Lyle came in tie 2nd splits $231,000, his total income from golf has been $22,000. that should help him get onto the euro tour. Ernie finished at -12.

Re: Heineken Classic

What a platoff, after a 4 holes Craig Parry wins with a birdie. Nick had the same putt on the 18th 3 times and missed them each time, just on the lip. The last putt of nick's he putt more to the left of the whole but a lot slower and still stopped it on the low side lip.

Re: Heineken Classic

He's a great golfer (Parry) and probably deserves more credit than he receives. Remember that eagle he got in the playoff in one of the PGA tour events last year.

It is salutory to note that whilst we average golfers play on the same course and look like we play the same game, in reality we are playing quite a different sport to the pros. But we can still enjoy the extra shots we get per round and get our kicks out of the odd extra long tee shot or precise iron shot that lands close to the pin.

Nice call Mr Chance...glad you got your wish. I'll drink to that....!
