| Re: To Hot for Golf Ouch that's hot! I live in Egypt but haven't played through the summer yet when it gets even hotter than that. Funny you mention losing grip on the club. I was caught in a freak rainstorm a few weeks back and as I wasn't prepared for it at all the grip on my driver got wet as I was waiting to tee off on the signature hole of the course. The hole is a Par 5 with the tee elevated to the height of the great pyramid at Giza; it's possible to see the pyramids from the tee box on a clear day. Anyway, I hit the drive and lost the club completely. The club spiralled 60 yards down the hill and the drive soared long and straight to about 300 yards! I was wondering whether anyone ever tried wettening the grip to improve driving accuracy? ![]() |
