Na, I not got that problem in South Africa but will do when I move to the UK in August!

I rekon the best way to play golf without playing golf is to get a P3Pro and a net. Not too expensive but wonderful. Check them out at www.proshotsolutions.com

I have 2 of them in the studio here and they're 5-star!

Not too expensive - compared to other similar devices.

It's still $850 CDN... but looks fantastic!

Re: Please weather man give me a break

Yea it was a gale force wind I played in today (73 what a bummer) keith, apparently the weather is to improve over the next couple of weeks. Hopefully when British Summer time (a misnomer if there ever was one lol) begins we will have a decent seasons play.
Get yourself to a local range, keith, try and find one that has a decent set up of pins and mock greens that you can keep the wedge play sharp on as well. Putting on a nice firm carpet at home is surprisingly good for keeping the putting stroke oiled. I still swear by it over the long winter nights.

Buy it from directly from them in the US - check them at p3pro.com. Not too sure, but it might be cheaper. I take mine with me to tournaments and often use it to practice with in motel rooms.

It'd be cheaper if I could smuggle it in... taxes and duty would kill me @ the border.

Re: Please weather man give me a break

Ermm ye £500 to spare me thinks not. The godd lady wife would be out the door to her mothers. Mmm ?now it could be money well spent lol . But yes our winters suck, I am at sea level north east coast, man ther aint many days when its not windy, the temp has not risen over 3 *c in the last 2 weeks and if there's no snow the ground is mushy. I have two private links courses and a municipal thats on the highest piece of land around (gets all the wind) and doesnt drain.

My ceilings are only 8 feet and i have no garage, the range is good for driving and mid to long irons but has no chipping or putting greens!!!
Although i do spend quite a bit of my working day practicing my putting. Hope my boss not a member of here
What about Qmotions I kno its a game but they reckon you can use a lob wedge but apply it on screen for any club?

Re: Please weather man give me a break

The Qmotions system is a fine game to play if you can't get out over the winter.

You really can't fade or draw the ball, but you can push and pull it!

It's a decent program if you just use it and upload it to the Qmotions website.

I bought one - and use it at least once a week.

Although, for the price, I might have saved some more and bought a P3Pro (although a P3Pro is 2.5 times more expensive than the Qmotions system - but you don't have to hit anything with the P3Pro.)

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.

I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.

For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.

Re: Please weather man give me a break

In Somerset i'm convinced the weathers againts me, Sunay to Friday the weather is glorious, if not sunny its warm enough, but come Saturday, well there was snow!
I decided that seeing as I play bad if its cold I would wrap up... I used 7 layers (1vest 2 teeshirts 1LS Tshirt 1polo and 2 jumpers) but this kind of cramped my swing, although at least I could laugh at the shiverers! (although I played like
Sh t!

Re: Please weather man give me a break

Nothing I've ever seen...

If you have a room close to your PC, you can use either a cat5 or USB extension to get the cabling to your PC... or get a wireless network adaptor and a wireless transmitter (LinkSys makes both - the WRT54G and the WET11, respectively), and connect through those.
