Re: New Irons

Phew, where do we start. I assume you are after mid to low handicap targeted irons since you dont want anything too chunky.

I will suggest some irons for different handicaps

10-14

Mizuno MX-20
Callaway Big Bertha
Titleist 704
Taylor Made RAC LT
Cleveland TA-6
5-9

Mizuno MP-30
Cleveland TA-3
Callaway X-18
Titleist 690CB
Taylor Made RAC Pro Combo

0-4

Mizuno MP-33
Cleveland TA-1
Titleist 690MB
Taylor Made RAC MB

Those are the clubs that are still available new. If you want to go for used clubs then all the following are good

Ping Eye 2
Mizuno T-Zoid Comp CT
Titleist 762
Mizuno T-Zoid Pro II
Mizuno MP-29
Ping ISI
Callaway X-14

No doubt there will be strong disagreement on this but thats my opinion above. Most of the used clubs you will get for less than £200.

www.golfbidder.co.uk is a great site for second hand clubs and of course theres always ebay.

Happy Shopping,

D.

Re: New Irons

Great looking list Darryl!

Maxfli Revolutions (red or black dots)
