| Re: Glasses + Golf = Bad game?? Hi Bryan, I wear glasses for golf ........I can safely say it doesn't affect your game at all. However if it's raining it can be a pain (carry a tissue and wear a cap) .......I have also just started to wear contact lenses just a weekends because I work on a computer allday which is no good for lenses. I wear lenses when it is sunny with sun glasses and this is fine. When I played my one and only game with contacts in I played really bad, so I wear my glasses...........I have always played with glasses on so I think that if I wanted to continue wearing contacts I would need some practice first....you must see the game diffently like Gord says with or without glasses. Ian.

| Re: Glasses + Golf = Bad game?? Well, I wear glasses and have to say I would like not to have to as far as golf is concerned, theres nothing worse than drizzley rain when your playing. I always carry a hand towel to wipe the glasses dry. Ona related topic, I know two guys who had laser eye treatment to correct their vision and say it has helped their golf a surprising amount. Its getting cheaper to have done as well. D. |

| Re: Glasses + Golf = Bad game?? I dont play with glasses but my step mom does and it seems to not affect her game at all. It is just personal preference as for the contacts glasses i would say. If i had vision requiring correction i would do contacts or lasic because i hardly like wearing sun glasses except when i have to. |

| Re: Glasses + Golf = Bad game?? Those of you who wear glasses are used to playing with them, so you have adjusted over time. But if you never had to wear corrective lenses before and started wearing them, you would notice a difference. I don't wear glasses, but I know many who do. Most find that they are better with contacts because of what I said in my previous post. As for what Darryl touched on with laser eye surgery, I know 3 people who have had the corrective surgery performed and their golf game improved termendously! This wouldn't apply so much to the low handicappers who have already figured out how to score well with glasses, usually just the higher handicappers. They just seem unable to line up properly with glasses on for some reason!
