Re: How good can you get?

1) Establish a proper RCGA handicap.

2) Get to the point where I'm consistently playing inside bogey golf.

3) Get and maintain a good form, consistent swing.

4) Get out to the course more!

Re: How good can you get?

My goals:

  1. DONE: Break 90, haven't done it yet. Shot a 91 my second time out this year though.
  2. Get consistent with my Driver. That would shave 5 shots a round off right there. Edit: Should of said hit more fairways. I switched to 3 iron on all but the par 5's and really long par 4's. Still hitting 9 or PW into the green.
  3. Be very competitive in League golf.
  4. Improve Iron accuracy. I think this is more an alignment issue than a swing issue.
  5. Improve chipping where I can be consistently within 10ft.
  6. HAVE FUN!!!
As soon as it quits raining here I'm going to get some video of my swing. My swing with my irons feels good. I hit the ball a ton. I hit my 6 iron between 190 and 200 consistently.

Now if I can just get the driver figured out! Other wise I'll be taking my 3 iron off most of the tees during league play.

Re: How good can you get?

I am playing off 14 at the moment.

1 - Would like to get to 10 by the end of the year.

2 - Consistently shoot mid 80's for my rounds.

Hopefully will be acheived by having a few lessons in May.

Wink Re: How good can you get?

I am currently a 3 and hope to be a scratch by end of May. A lot of hard winter work. Then I am going to a monday qualifier for a canadian tour event in Montreal. Also have to take my playing ability test to get a teaching card. And if all goes as planned Canadian Tour qualifying in September. Right now I am sticking to a good excercise routine and making sure I practice everyday.

Re: How good can you get?

I am a 10. My goal is to shoot 1 under par. I think I will do it if I keep trying as hard as I have been on my short game. So far this year I have not broken 80 though

Re: How good can you get?

my goal is what everyone elses is, shoot lower scores and be more consistent.

i want to be at the point where every shot seems routine and easy, and i can have a deep well of confidence to draw from in a pressure situation
